Doctor Eric Cambridge GP
After medical school, I completed my general practitioner training in the UK. Following this training, I gained experience as a locum GP both in London and Amsterdam. During this time I also started working as a doctor for hotels and tourists in Amsterdam. It was during this time that I came into contact with the big Expat community in Amsterdam; people often far from home, struggling to find their way around in the Dutch medical system. Based on the many requests for help, I started the Expat Medical Centre, now over 12 Years ago. Our main goal is to help expats if possible in their own language, with an eye for their special needs. For appointments I am available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at the Amsterdam office on 112 Bloemgracht.
Doctor Luisa Camoglio GP
I am proud to work at Expat Medical Centre from March 2013.
Besides English, I speak native Italian, and Dutch.
I hold a PhD in Gastroenterology, and Immunology, after research on Crohn disease.
After working as an assistant doctor in Ibternal Medicine and Surgery, I became a General Practitioner in 2004.
Through training, I developed into an allround General Practitioner since, and I enjoy practicing all of it.
Ik werk bij Expat Medical Centre praktijk vanaf maart 2013.
Ik spreek 3 talen: Italiaans (moedertaal), Engels en Nederlands.
Ik ben gepromoveert op gebied van MDL en immunologie van de darmen (onderzoek naar de ziekte van Crohn; titel van mijn promotie: IL12 and T lymphocyte dependent mucosal immune responses).
Ik heb gewerkt als arts-assistent interne geneeskunde (12 maanden) en chirurgie (6 maanden). Ik ben huisarts vanaf 2004.
Ik heb geen speciliteiten, ik school mezelf over alles (zoals verwacht door een GP), ik vind wel kleine chirurgie altijd leuk om uit te voeren.

Doctor Lola Marsimina van Andel GP
I enjoy working at Expat Medical Centre since April 2014. Beside English and Dutch, I speak native Russian. I am an allround General Practitioner, interrested in all my patients, fully engaged to help them. I work on Mondays and Tuesdays at Expat Medical Centre, and Saturdays at Central Doctors.

Jannet Dekker Psychologist
My name is Jannet Dekker. I work for the practice for more than 5 years now. I have a master degree in Clinical psychology (University of Amsterdam) and I did many extra subjects in social psychology. I have several years of post graduate education; EMDR, Cognitive Behaviour therapy and Schematherapy. I am registered Psychologist NIP and Cognitive behaviour therapist i.o VGCT.I treat a large variety of mental issues, like anxiety/ panic attacks, depression, stress and burn out, (single) trauma, relationship issues, sleeping problems etc.I speak fluently Dutch and English and I have B2 level Spanish and German. I love traveling, lived in several countries and keep an interest in other cultures.I am available for sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; both in person and online.

Benedetta Geretto Psychologist
My name is Benedetta Geretto, and I joined the practice in November 2023. After obtaining a master’s degree in clinical psychology at University of Genoa, I gained experience with psychiatric diseases and neuropsychological issues. Currently, I work with various problems, such as anxiety, depression, stress and burnout. I am furthering my expertise through a postgraduate master’s program in relaxation techniques and mindfulness, and I am on the path to becoming a certified psychotherapist at the Imaginative Analysis Institute (IAI) in Cremona, Italy. My therapeutic approach is client-centred, and I integrate psychodynamic models, cognitive-behavioural strategies and relaxation methods; I offer a place where patients can feel secure, welcomed, and not judged. In addition to my native Italian, I offer sessions in English and Spanish. I am available for online sessions on Wednesdays, and at Bloemgracht 112 on Fridays.days and Fridays both in-person and online.

Petra de Heus, Practice Nurse
As Practice Nurse, I deal with patients with chronic diseases, as diabetes, cardio vasculardiseases, etc. Also eldrly people are under my care.
In case patients need chronic or home care, I do my best to organise it.
I work at Expat Medical Centre for 5 Years already, and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
I speak native /dutch, and English.
I work on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
